Dominican Republic Jazz Festival 09 in CabareteA superb show in Cabarete

BREAKING NEWS: Cabarete.- The Dominican Republic Jazz Festival 09 ended in a big way for its tenth edition, with the long-awaited interpretation of Jose Alberto El Canario and Italian saxophonist Marco Pignataro.

Jose Alberto went on stage despite the rain, which did not deter the artist to thrill the audience.

The special guest of the evening was the Cuban violinistAlfredo de la Fe, who introduced himself by saying that since I first walked in the Dominican ground in 1980, I never stopped smiling.

Songs like Cuban Fantasy, Baila Que Baila, Almendra,Oye como va, Paella and Chan Chan have been interpreted by a group of twelve highly experienced musicians.

A small tribute to Compay Segundo was introduced by Alfredo de la Fe when he sang one of his titles.

Then, when he interpreted Bailemos otra vez, the salsa singer descended the podium and began to sing and dance with the audience.
