The Minister of Environment went to Cabarete

In order to check the building work

BREAKING NEWS: Cabarete. - The Minister of Environment and Natural Resources (Semarena), Jaime David Fernández Mirabal, went to Cabarete in order to inspect the building work of a channel which will make it possible to avoid the floods in the neighborhoods of the lagoon and in the sectors of El Callejón and La Ciénaga.

Fernández Mirabal is concerned by the defense of the lagoon of Cabarete, which according to him constitutes an important tourist attraction that this community can propose to the foreign travelers who visit the northern coast of the Dominican Republic .

The civil servant remained a few hours in Cabarete and took the opportunity to meet representatives of the community to ask them to continue to defend the environment and the natural resources, since the tourists who visit the zone enjoy the nature and the beautiful landscapes.
